Talk Fusion and SPCA Florida Continue to Speak for Those Who Can’t Speak for Themselves!
An unfortunate respiratory virus outbreak struck Hillsborough County Animal Services and we stepped in to help.
Watch the touching story covered by ABC Action News below…
Earlier this week, Hillsborough County Animal Services faced a sudden emergency. Due to a respiratory virus outbreak, the organization announced that they would no longer be able to take in stray dogs until the treatable virus had cleared.
For animal welfare supporters, the news was devastating. The numerous strays found per month in the Tampa Bay area would no longer have a place to go for safety and treatment until the virus passed. So, Talk Fusion and our partners at SPCA Florida stepped up and took action!
Founder & CEO Bob Reina, Talk Fusion and SPCA Florida partnered up to create an emergency shelter in a temporary tent within SPCA Florida’s large dog exercise yard in Lakeland. This fully-operational outdoor shelter now works asa safe haven and saving grace for many rescued stray dogs found throughout Hillsborough County.
The good news touched a number of Tampa Bay news outlets including Bay News 9, Channel 10 News, & the Tampa Tribune.
