letting fear hold you back

Are Your Fears Keeping You From the Life You Want?

What am I afraid of?

What scares me?

It’s a question that everyone asks themselves at one point or another; or, at least they should. If you haven’t, I’ve got news for you: you’re probably not where you want to be in life.

You might be asking what I mean by that, or how I even know that. Well, I’ll tell you.

To be successful, you need to grow as a person. The most successful people learn how to change and adapt with every situation — versatility and drive set achievers apart from the crowd.

So what does that have to do with fear? If you don’t know what you’re afraid of, if you haven’t faced those fears head on, then the harsh truth is that you’ve probably grown stagnant.

Staying “comfortable” might be fine for some, but for those of us who are hungry and who want to do more, being “comfortable” isn’t on our agendas. You have to make yourself uncomfortable to get ahead. That means talking to strangers, learning how to network, and setting clear goals for yourself.

If you’re always afraid of the future, you aren’t going to get far.

So, I’m asking you now:

Do you want to be successful?

Are you tired of where you’re at?

Do you know what scares you?

Are you ready to face your fears?

If you answered “yes” to all of these questions, then I’ve got some good news for you. You’re ready to start moving forward and plotting your path for a successful life. Wherever that path takes you, remember that you need to always be identifying and facing the things that scare you.

Face Your Fears. Then Keep Going. Repeat.

The only way that we become better people who are ready to take on the world is by making sure we don’t get too comfortable. The world isn’t built by people who sit still. So I dare you to do more. Plan your goals and start checking things off the list.

I don’t want you to look back on your life with regret. The only way to make sure that doesn’t happen is to run the play.

So let’s go! Those of us at the top are ready to meet you there.
